Pet Rat Life Expectancy
One of the downfalls to keeping pet rats is their short life expectancy.  Two to three years is the average.  However, there always seem to be a few who celebrate 4 or even 5 birthdays!  A question came up on a rat board regarding how common this is.  So, a poll is taking place, asking rat owners to report rat age of death for their pets.  The results will be summarized here.  Is it scientific?  No.  But, it should be interesting to see the results.  Once my boss leaves me alone and my computer is out of the shop, I'd also like to do a comparison of age at time of death between males and females.  Stay tuned.
